ERP - Enterprise Resourse Planning

ERP refers to organized form controlling a industry to provide efficient distribution of information available for efficient and superior functionality of the organization. Many vendors provide ERP solutions which include SAP, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards etc.. SAP is still the undisputed leader with its enormous capability to control the complexity of the task involved. In ERP, field of work are broadly classified into "Technical" and "Functional". Both of these domains provide excellent job opportunities for freshers and laterals in Information Technology industry. In spite of the global recession, the only field that retains its original value is ERP. Since it has vital part in controlling a organization, its presence had become mandatory.
In past decade implementation of ERP solutions was considered to be very expensive. But with the growth of functionalities and variety of possibilities that ERP solutions gave made it mandatory in almost every organization to handle their information in a well organized and efficient manner.
